Position Description We are looking for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver located in Shreveport, LA.

Truck Driver CDL A Local Home Daily

will operate a tractor‑trailer on a local home‑daily route.

Pay & Schedule

Weekly pay: $976–$1,170

Hourly rate: $27.89

Health stipend: $5.55 per hour

Hours: 35‑40 per week

Paid training

Schedule: 7‑day operation, 5‑6 days per week

Shift start: 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Flexibility for either shift

Route & Equipment

Route: SOLO To Shreveport and surrounding area shuttle, local home‑daily

Tractor: Day cab

Trailer: Dry van 53" and straight truck 26'

Equipment: Rolling carts

Transport freight: Touch – US Mail

Trucks are 36‑month new or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and company fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide

Requirements

Minimum 21 years old

Pass a Ryder drug test

Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements

Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within past 3 years OR

2 years within last 5 years OR

5 years within last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines

Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs

Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer

Perform other duties as assigned
