Phlebotomist III Float – Saint Augustine, FL
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotational weekends.
Phlebotomist Float role: requires frequent shifting to new patient centers, providing diverse and dynamic work.
Pay range: $21.26+ per hour

Responsibilities
Cover assigned territory within Patient Service Centers, doctors’ offices, or as business needs dictate.
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, instruct and be the resource advisor for new employees; serve as point of contact to staff on site.
Travel to additional doctors’ office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada & Washington.
Work Experience
Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Position requires ability to communicate effectively in English.
