Job Summary/Description Gray Digital Media is seeking a Data Analyst to manage, connect, and transform news, content, and audience data. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and preparing information for dashboards, reporting, and visualization tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with data integration and analytics, and eager to turn raw data into actionable business insights.
We are seeking a data-driven, forward-thinking analyst to join our team as a Data Solutions Analyst. This role will be at the core of how GDM connects, transforms, and visualizes our core owned & operated news content data. The right candidate will not only manage data but also establish the processes that ensure quality, accuracy, and usability across the business.

Duties/Responsibilities
Data Connections & Pipelines – Establish and maintain integrations between first- and third-party data sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Data Quality & Strategy – Implement strategies, processes, and monitoring tools to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Data Transformation & Preparation – Develop and maintain pipelines that clean, structure, and prepare data for analysis and visualization.
Visualization & Reporting – Support dashboards and reports that turn complex data into actionable insights for news teams.
Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows and proactively recommend solutions that improve efficiency and decision‑making.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer technology, or a similar field
2+ years of experience in data analysis
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
Experience working with social media data
Experience with dashboard visualization tools (Looker Studio, Domo, Power BI, etc.)
Prior experience working with news content preferred
