A Day in the Life We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. This is a remote position that requires the candidate to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Selling Interstim devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other appropriate medical staff.
Partnering with strategic implanting centers to develop the account/implanter practice.
Providing product and therapy technical support and service.
Consulting on strategic management and analysis of trends.
Utilizing appropriate Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans to accounts for territory development and growth.
Other activities as they arise, as assigned by sales leadership.
Qualifications
Must Have: High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of experience*
Must Have: Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience*
*Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Nice to Have: Solid knowledge of the reimbursement climate.
Nice to Have: Experience calling on physicians in neurology, urology, colorectal surgery.
Nice to Have: Experience in developing new, innovative markets.
Nice to Have: Experience in making multiple referral calls daily.
Nice to Have: Familiarity with the operating room.
Nice to Have: Solid job skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis; preferred knowledge of managed care.
Nice to Have: Experience with physiology/clinical therapies.
Nice to Have: Experience with implantable devices.
Nice to Have: Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills.
Nice to Have: Team oriented.
Nice to Have: Conceptual/consultative sales skills.
Nice to Have: Understanding of all quality policy/system items that are applicable.
Nice to Have: Ability to follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.
Additional Job Requirements
Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and off‑site meetings.
Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed as part of the application.
Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
