We have deployed our service & technology to hundreds of buildings in the past year, and it’s now time for us to elevate this rate of growth. We’re seeking someone entrepreneurial, can hustle and has a keen interest in learning about proptech solutions. This new hire desires a challenge, and will thrive working alongside a small team that’s making a big impact on the multifamily industry. This role will be focused on hunting and prospecting into targeted accounts, responding to inbound requests and developing industry relationships to generate new business. You will play an integral role in the growth of our company. As one of our first sellers, you will have the opportunity to help shape the role and be closely mentored professionally by our team. Responsibilities Hunting - You will be prospecting into the real estate landscape, primarily developers, owners & property managers. This will consist of cold calling and other outbound activity to generate interest in order to schedule discover calls and product demos Researching and evaluating target leads/prospects and industry media Understand how Carson and our integrations help solve problems and delivers value to property management Demonstrate the Carson solution, both in-person and virtually to decision makers Create proposals Manage pipeline and track activity in Hubspot CRM Attend conferences and trade shows to demonstrate and building awareness Master use of real estate data & information platforms Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for opportunities created Requirements 2-5 years of experience in sales, SaaS and/or real estate brokerage (real estate and/or multifamily experience a plus) Passion for sales and competitive spirit Ability to present & demonstrate product selling points via phone, email and screenshare Understanding of sales cycle process and proven track record of closing deals Must be highly persistent and able to work independently Collaboration is essential Positive & energetic attitude with a demonstrated ability to deal with rejection Stay organized and ability to stay on top of a highly transactional pipeline A self-starter with a track record of successful achievements Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships Intellectually curious and want to receive/provide constructive feedback Must be located in the New York City Tri-State area Benefits of working at Carson Fun, intimate team that’s level-headed and inclusive where your ideas are welcomed An educational opportunity like no other where you’ll learn about software, hardware and various security solutions for the real estate industry Meet and develop relationships with leaders in multifamily real estate and security Field prospecting, attend sales meetings & industry events Equity Unlimited vacation Union Square office 401K Compensation 70 - 130K OTE Carson celebrates and supports diversity for the benefit of our employees, our business, and our community.
