PurpleLab is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Healthcare Payer Provider Account Executive to join our sales team. This role will focus on driving new business opportunities in the Real World Evidence (RWE), Real World Data (RWD), and Claims Data space. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects in the healthcare data industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development and Sales
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand business with existing clients and attract new accounts within the healthcare payer-provider data space. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects at all times, focusing on RWE, RWD, and Claims Data solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within healthcare payers, providers, and related organizations. Negotiate contracts and close deals, achieving sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare payer and provider organizations. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their data-related needs and ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective data solutions that meet client requirements.
Market and Product Expertise
Maintain a deep understanding of RWE, RWD, and Claims Data products and services, effectively presenting and selling these solutions to clients. Conduct in-depth research on healthcare data market trends, payer-provider dynamics, and competitive offerings. Stay informed about product updates, enhancements, and new data services through close collaboration with internal teams.
Strategic Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and data analytics to ensure smooth execution of contracts and successful implementation of data solutions. Partner with account management teams to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Monitor and report on sales activities, account performance, and market intelligence related to healthcare data trends. Maintain accurate records of all account activities, opportunities, and contacts in the company’s CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare data sales, with a focus on Real World Evidence, Real World Data, or Claims Data. Proven track record of successful B2B sales experience in the healthcare or insurance industries. Strong understanding of healthcare payer/provider models, including insurance, reimbursement, and value-based care. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
