Underground Utilities Water & Wastewater Treatment Facilities Typical project sizes:
$2M–$10M What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage
5–10 craft professionals
per site Oversee
1–3 active projects
simultaneously Coordinate daily field operations across civil, underground, and process scopes Read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules Communicate effectively with
owners, inspectors, engineers, and internal teams Maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance Exercise basic autonomy over
Instrumentation & Controls (I&C)
coordination Partner closely with Project Managers to drive profitability and execution Required Experience & Skills
Proven Superintendent experience in
Heavy Civil / Underground / Water‑Wastewater Strong background in: concrete forming, civil and earth‑moving equipment, process equipment installation Experience with
Division 2 (Site/Concrete)
and
Division 15 (Mechanical/Process)
scopes Ability to manage multiple crews and projects concurrently Strong communication and leadership skills Line & Grade contractor background strongly preferred Seniority level
