Overview Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers (CTSC) provide high‑quality tires, reliable services, and powerful management tools to commercial fleets nationwide. The Fleet Tire Sales Specialist role focuses on selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services to existing and new accounts.
Responsibilities
Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
Travel frequently from customer sites to build and maintain relationships.
Sell company‑supported products and services.
Meet sales goals set by management.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value‑selling approach.
Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting (commercial tires and wheels), standing, bending, sitting, and squatting.
Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.
Deliver tires to customers as needed.
Basic Requirements
2 years or more of successful sales and/or business‑to‑business experience.
Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
At least 21 years of age.
No relocation is being offered for this position.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Associate Degree in a related field.
Previous business‑to‑business sales experience.
Candidate Criteria
Strong oral and written communication ability.
Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.
Self‑starter who takes initiative, can work without direct supervision, and is willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
