is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting Nihon Kohden’s NKV Series Ventilator Systems in New York.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for the NKV Series Ventilator Systems and associated consumables.

Weekly travel with AEs in the region and support large opportunity demos and meetings.

Make independent sales calls within the region to uncover new opportunities and build the ventilation funnel.

Collaborate with the regional RVP Sales and National Sales Director Ventilation to develop quarterly and annual sales activities to achieve regional goals.

Represent Nihon Kohden as a technology leader through joint presentations, evaluations, and sales calls with patient monitoring and neurology teams.

Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with key buying influences in each account.

Maintain knowledge of each account’s purchase plans and objectives and inform regional leadership of changes.

Manage ventilation product evaluations, trials, installations, and clinical training; obtain customer sign‑off for revenue recognition.

Support pipeline and opportunity documentation within Salesforce and provide quoting support as needed.

Participate in regional sales meetings as requested.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (adult, pediatric, neonatal). Valid, unrestricted respiratory therapy license in the United States; RRT credential preferred.

5+ years of critical care medical device sales experience to hospitals and GPOs; ventilation sales preferred.

Experience completing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Purchase (RFP) documents.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Strong knowledge of ventilation products and strategic selling; excellent communication and consultative solution skills.

Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation Base salary of $110,000 plus quarterly MBOs. Variable incentive is earned through commissions above the value of achieved MBOs.

Working Conditions Schedule:

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday (regular hours may vary). Holiday, weekend, and evening work may be required.

Physical:

May require reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 35 lbs, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity.

Travel:

Approximately 80 % of the time.

Location:

Must reside in the assigned territory (NY).

Access to Customer Sites:

Proof of vaccinations and other vendor credentialing requirements may be necessary; related expenses are reimbursed by the company.
