Sales Support Specialist

to join our team. The Sales Support Specialist will assist Account Executives (AEs) and coordinate with the Operations Team to streamline processes, improve communication, and increase customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in managing the pipeline, training brokers, and supporting various operational tasks. This position reports to the Wholesale Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Train new brokers on Encompass TPO Connect, file flow, and pricing tools. Assist with loan scenarios, exceptions, and manage broker relationships. Cover for AEs when they are out and visit accounts as needed. Manage pipelines, locks, and ensure timely loan closings. Help brokers lock loans and resolve loan suspensions within compliance timelines. Assist with loan setup, broker compensation, and qualification issues. Walk brokers through bank statement processes and follow up on results. Support brokers with applications, recertifications, and updates. Maintain clear communication with brokers for approvals and renewals. Maintain user access to systems (Encompass, TPO Portal) and perform monthly updates. Support wholesale trade shows and hospitality events. Assist with training new Sales Support Specialists. Develop best practices and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; higher education is a plus. Minimum of two years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending, including loan disclosures. Strong ability to collaborate with others such as AEs, brokers and Operations. Knowledge of Non-QM loans is a plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity with mortgage compliance regulations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The compensation range for this role is $65,00.00 to $75,000.00 which may vary based on skills, experience and location.
