Experienced
PCA CCA Retail
Sales Agronomist
to their team. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the right individual.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities
Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business
Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
Forecast supply requirements buy month and annual basis
Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools
Sales Agronomist Qualifications
3+ years of agronomy related experience with a current book of business or strong established farmer/grower relationships
A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
Must be PCA licensed and CCA Certified
Must currently reside in the region and have a valid driver’s license
