Diesel Technician – United Petroleum Transports

Join United Petroleum Transports as a Diesel Technician. This role is full‑time, entry level, and focuses on vehicle maintenance, repair and safety in a shop environment. Responsibilities

Prepare repair orders in accordance with company policy. Work safely and effectively within the shop area and when making a road call without supervision. Complete records in a timely manner in compliance with company rules and requirements. Maintain personal safety when performing maintenance operations on tractor and/or trailers. Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the shop. Dispose of all waste products, both hazardous and non‑hazardous. Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor as required. Minimum Qualifications

High School Education or equivalent. ASE Brake certification within the first 180 days of employment (preferred). Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Detail oriented work habits; self‑starter. Knowledge of DOT regulations, federal, state, local and company standards and requirements. Basic mechanics skills and technical knowledge to repair and replace components such as air compressors, fuel pumps, hubs, wheels and springs. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods on a concrete floor; repeatedly reach above shoulder level an unlimited number of times daily, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, squat, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talk, hearing and visual activity. Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. Working Conditions
