Marketing Manager
Big Human
is a full‑service creative agency that brings brands’ visions to life through technology, design, branding and marketing. Since 2010, we’ve produced 262 websites, 80 applications and 50 brands for 247 satisfied clients, including Rockefeller Center, Gemini, Quinn and Netflix, and our own passion projects like HQ Trivia and Vine.
As we expand our marketing capabilities, we’re hiring a Marketing Manager to support our growing team. This person will sit at the center of the team, ensuring clarity, structure and momentum across every engagement so our strategists, creatives and analysts can focus on high‑impact work.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage project timelines for recurring and one‑off deliverables
Own weekly and bi‑weekly workflow cycles, including outlines, drafts, reviews and final approvals
Ensure Asana tasks are created, updated and routed correctly
Remove bottlenecks by clarifying requirements, resolving blockers and confirming priorities
Timebox meetings and ensure all prep work is complete before internal or client sessions
Partner with the Director of Marketing to align weekly priorities with available bandwidth
Quality Assurance & Deliverable Readiness
Conduct first‑pass QA before work reaches senior reviewers
Check decks, documents and reports for completeness, structure, accuracy and consistency
Validate data accuracy and ensure insights are fully contextualized for clients
Maintain templates, naming conventions and version control across projects
Ensure every deliverable meets Big Human’s quality and clarity standards
Internal Communication & Support
Run internal syncs, take notes, capture decisions, and follow through on action items
Summarize meeting outputs into clear next steps for the team
Prepare agendas, supporting materials and logistics for client presentations
Protect focus time and manage calendar flow for the Director of Marketing
Operational Systems & Documentation
Build and maintain SOPs, QA checklists, templates and process documentation
Identify workflow gaps and proactively implement improvements
Support resourcing by flagging over/under‑capacity and making adjustments in Forecast
Maintain consistency in how the team executes, communicates and delivers work
Who You Are
3–5+ years in project management, marketing operations, studio coordination or a related role
Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and follow‑through
Skilled at managing complex workflows across multiple stakeholders
Excellent communicator: clear, concise, proactive
Obsessed with accuracy, detail and process consistency
Able to anticipate needs and remove roadblocks proactively
Calm, positive and solutions‑oriented, even under pressure
A natural systems thinker who enjoys creating clarity and improving how teams work
Bonus Points
Proficiency with Asana (major bonus points here)
Experience in a creative agency or studio environment
Familiarity with data QA, content review or editorial workflows
Exposure to marketing, analytics or content operations
Experience supporting senior leaders

This role is fully remote, with a preference for someone based in the Tri‑State area (or who can easily travel to NYC for coworking days and team gatherings). Compensation is commensurate with experience and ranges from $65,000–80,000, depending on background.
