BT-139 – Sr. Database Administrator
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (fully on-site, no remote option)
MUST HAVE A POLY CLEARANCE TO APPLY. Those without a Poly clearance will not be considered. Description:
Sr. Database Administrator with 10+ years experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services. Support for 24x7 production database environment. After-hours call in support be necessary when scheduled.
Required Skills
10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postress, and MySQL & Oracle’s database (10 – current).
Extensive experience with database design, as well as, the collection and interpretation of requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience.
Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
Security + CE or higher required
Qualifications
Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement unique business processes and workflows.
Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning.
Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
There is no option for remote work and all support is fully on-site. Please indicate your preferred location.
