Overview: Bill Wright Golf Complex (formerly Jefferson Park Golf Course) has one of the richest histories in public golf in the Seattle Area. Founded in 1915, we are the oldest public golf course in Seattle. Under the moniker of Jefferson Park Golf Course, we have established ourselves as one of the busiest and most diverse golf courses in the area. With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 9-hole short course, and a 50-stall, heated, covered, TopTracer-equipped range, we can accommodate the needs of golfers at any skill level.

Experience Required:

PGA level 1 Associate or higher

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems

Golf Genius operations

Club Fitting knowledge

Instruction Experience

Assist in administering all point-of-sale application revisions and needs related to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing. Coordinate with Accounting Departments on policy and procedure revisions, updates, and implementation.

Reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-in, and process payments from members and guests. Resolve discrepancies such as duplicate charges or over- and underpayment. Track all force posts and no-show charges as applicable.

Promote all club golf activities.

Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop. Assist retail buyers with procurement and merchandise, and shop assistants with merchandising and sales.

Assist in preparing for golf outings, men's and ladies' clubs, including coordinating scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, favors, pairing sheets, scoring, payouts, and hole assignments.

Assist with the monthly inventory process.

Support outside event coordination for the golf course and driving range.

Assist with staff training.

Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Provide club fitting when applicable.

Offer private instruction opportunities with limitations.

Benefits & Compensation:

Pay ranges from $25-26/hr, depending on experience.
