Job Title Service Plumber
Job Summary The service plumber will maintain and service all types of plumbing fixtures and components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and repair broken pipe and clogged drains.
Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of iron, steel, and brass.
Work on several pipe systems including water, steam, and waste.
Repair water heaters, water tanks, garbage disposal units, and leaky faucets.
Attain backflow certification.
Operate a drain camera.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
7+ years of experience as a plumber mechanic in commercial or light industrial settings.
Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to use power tools and equipment commonly used in the construction trade safely.
Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
