We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Truck Builder to join our team. The Truck Builder will be responsible for assembling, customizing, and modifying trucks to meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Benefits

Assembly and modification of trucks and truck bodies according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders. Installation of parts, equipment, and accessories such as chassis, wiring systems, fuel systems, hydraulics, and suspension components. Customizing trucks based on customer needs and specifications. Welding metals according to employer requirements. Installing lift gates, walk ramps, bumpers, and platforms, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes as needed. Conducting thorough inspections to ensure builds meet safety and quality standards and resolving any defects. Operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery safely and maintaining them in good working condition. Collaborating closely with engineers, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects, and communicating effectively to address challenges. Following all safety protocols, procedures, and using personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in truck assembly, automotive manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Technical Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, repair orders, schematics, and technical documents. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and basic electrical systems is a plus. Knowledge of 12‑volt electrical systems and wiring installation. Use of measuring devices like tape measure, levels, micrometer. Power tools usage: drills, saws, air tools. Installation of hydraulic systems (PTO’s, pumps, compressors). Soft Skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements

Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods. Requires lifting up to 75 pounds frequently. Requires stretching to reach items up to 75 pounds. Requires working in confined spaces. Requires eye‑hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery. Occasionally works at heights using ladder or mechanical lift. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity. Requires working under stressful conditions or irregular hours. Requires a fast‑paced environment. Requires normal hearing and vision. Must understand vague and implicit instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must be able to communicate, providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Work Environment

The position is primarily based in a garage shop environment with exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures. Overtime may be required based on production demands. Seniority Level
