Principal Content Architect – REMOTE
We are looking for a Principal Content Architect to lead the transformation of digital experiences through innovative, AI‑powered content systems. Your work will significantly influence enterprise strategy, drive innovation, and set standards in structured content management. You will establish governance frameworks, mentor junior architects, and ensure the delivery of intelligent content across various platforms. Accountabilities
Define the enterprise vision for content architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with global experience strategies.
Establish governance frameworks for structured content, metadata, and taxonomies to enable dynamic personalization and atomic content reuse.
Drive AI‑powered innovation, architecting systems for intelligent content creation, assembly, and delivery across marketing, product, and service ecosystems.
Influence cross‑functional roadmaps, integrating content architecture into UX, design systems, and engineering layers.
Lead experimentation and prototyping, delivering proofs of concept that validate strategic concepts and accelerate adoption.
Mentor senior architects, building organizational capability in AI‑driven content systems.
Serve as a thought leader, publishing guidance, presenting at industry forums, and hosting workshops on AI‑assisted design practices.
Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks, connecting architecture decisions to business outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in content architecture, content strategy, or CMS modeling, with expertise in enterprise‑scale implementations and headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful).
Proven ability to set and execute content architecture strategy at enterprise scale, influencing executive stakeholders.
Deep knowledge of structured content, metadata frameworks, and AI integration for digital experiences.
Expertise in generative AI frameworks and spec‑driven development, with a track record of delivering prototypes.
Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including CMS, CRM, marketing automation, and personalization platforms.
Experience in governance, compliance, and risk management, including regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence at all levels.

Competitive salary range between 150,700 – 251,100 USD per year based on experience and geographic location.
