Primary Responsibilities
As an Ad Sales Account Manager at TYT, you will:● Manage the full sales cycle for advertising and branded content partnerships, from RFP response and media planning to campaign launch, reporting, and renewal. ● Manage relationships with 3rd party ad sales teams including vetting proposals, providing inventory updates, tracing performance, and reporting. ● Develop and deliver compelling sales materials including client proposals, presentations, and custom pitches tailored to advertisers’ goals. ● Collaborate cross-functionally with the Production, Editorial, Marketing, and Audience Development teams to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly. ● Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the campaign lifecycle, providing proactive communication, updates, and performance insights. ● Lead campaign performance analysis by monitoring KPIs, optimizing campaigns, and preparing post-campaign recap reports to drive renewals. ● Manage programmatic ad stack and adjust based on fill rates ● Stay ahead of industry trends in digital video, programmatic advertising, branded content, and social platform monetization to bring fresh ideas to clients. ● Maintain and update sales collateral including rate cards, case studies, audience research, and competitive positioning. ● Foster long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and key decision-makers to grow TYT’s ad revenue. Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong desire to grow in digital media sales.● 2–4 years of digital advertising or media sales experience (at a publisher, agency, or media company). ● Experience managing accounts from RFP to IO actualization, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. ● Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and manage expectations. ● Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with GAM360, Google Analytics, and ad servers a plus. ● Knowledge of digital video, audio, and linear platform operations. Programmatic buying experience is a plus. ● Knowledge of Podcast Sales Software and Reporting (such as Megaphone, Podscribe, Pod Roll) ● Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills—both written and verbal. ● Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving. ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while managing multiple priorities. ● A passion for digital media and TYT’s mission is highly desirable.
