You will be part of a high-growth, venture-backed startup transforming how building materials retailers operate. Based in
Chicago
/
Chicagoland , you'll lead the
entire sales process
from lead generation to closing deals. This role involves
outbound
sales utilizing both
inside
and
outside
sales strategies. You will report to Rundoo’s Head of Sales,
Matt , and collaborate with regional peers:
Kyle ,
Erin ,
Ryan ,
Sam , and
Andy . Additionally, you'll work closely with industry veterans like
Reggie
and an accomplished team of implementation professionals and BDRs.
You’ll spend about
50% of your time in the office
in Chicago, collaborating with team members, and
50% traveling
within your territory to meet clients face-to-face.
We offer a
competitive compensation package
benchmarked via
Carta Total Rewards : Base Salary:
$92K
Uncapped Commission (On-Target Earnings):
$192K
In addition, you will receive an equity package.
Requirements
Reside in the
Chicago
/
Chicagoland area
and can work from our office approximately
50% of the time .
Excited to
close deals
and
carry a quota .
Possess a valid
U.S. driver’s license .
Comfortable with
frequent travel (~50%)
across your assigned region.
Enjoy building
strong relationships
with customers from initial contact to closing.
Icing on the cake
Experience
closing new business deals
in the
$15K–$20K ARR range , especially at
Series A startups
or similar growth-stage companies.
Proven ability in
hunting and closing
net-new business in a field sales role.
Familiarity with the
building materials
or
construction supply
industry, ideally retail.
Enjoys
friendly competition
and performs well in a high-performance team environment.
Has sold a
new-to-market
product or one that required
process change
for the customer.
Interview Process
Intro Call (20 min) - Remote An informal chat with our Operations Team to get to know each other.
Round 1 (1 hour) - Remote A fast-paced learning session with Matt, our Head of Sales: Top-of-Funnel (30 min)
- Live prospect visits.
Demo (30 min)
- Product overview and mock demo.
Final Round (2 hours) - In-person or remote Negotiation (30 min)
- Mock negotiation with Kyle.
Role Play (1.5 hours)
- Realistic sales scenarios with Matt.
