About The Role The Maintenance Technician is integral to maintaining the overall physical condition of the community and providing world‑class service to residents. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, making necessary repairs, and completing all resident service requests and community maintenance in a timely manner.

Eligible for a $500 net sign‑on bonus paid in your first paycheck.

What You'll Be Doing

Perform general maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and lighting systems, including inspections, repairs, and inventory control.

Ensure the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.

Work a rotating on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.

Who We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED graduate level.

4–6 years of maintenance experience.

Demonstrated strong customer service skills.

Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.

Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs.

Ability to work with limited supervision and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication with customers.

Certifications relevant to the region obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler Certification, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair).

Required training for Maintenance Tech I completed within 9 months of hire/promotion; for Maintenance Tech II completed within 12 months.

Valid, state‑issued driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Typical Physical Demands Regularly use hands to manipulate tools, machinery, equipment, supplies, and office equipment. Frequently stand, reach, climb ladders, balance, and stoop. Sit and stand for clerical work. Regularly lift and move equipment and supplies up to 50–75 lbs.

Typical Work Conditions Work is performed in and outside a maintenance/machinery environment and in and outside residential properties. Employees frequently interact directly with residents and community staff.
