Business Development Manager We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new growth, expand our customer base, and elevate Tru Temp’s presence throughout the United States.

Position Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role combines strategy, sales, networking, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate is proactive, results‑driven, and skilled at building relationships within the food service, hospitality, or related industries.

Business Growth & Strategy

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities aligned with Tru Temp’s market strategy.

Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

Develop and implement business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers.

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients during the sales and onboarding process.

Deliver high‑quality presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline progress in CRM systems.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work with leadership to refine value propositions and pricing strategies.

Provide market insights to guide product development and strategic initiatives.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to elevate the Tru Temp brand.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3–5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management.

Proven track record of achieving sales goals and closing deals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Comfortable working independently and in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred

Experience in the food service, logistics, supply chain, or temperature‑controlled equipment industry.

Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.

Existing network within the Phoenix or Arizona business community.

Salary Range (Phoenix Market) $90,000 – $120,000 base salary per year

$110,000 – $150,000 (with commissions/bonuses)

Compensation depends on experience, industry background, and performance expectations.
