Job Description This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO on high-impact analytical and strategic initiatives across the company. The
Business Strategy Analyst
will conduct market research, analyze financial and operational data, evaluate expansion opportunities, and develop insights to support executive decision‑making. This is a research‑and‑analysis‑focused role designed for someone who enjoys complex problem‑solving, structured thinking, and translating information into clear recommendations.
Key Responsibilities Research & Market Analysis
Analyze construction industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
Research and assess new state markets for potential expansion
Identify and evaluate regulatory and licensing requirements from a strategic and feasibility perspective
Develop structured summaries and decision‑ready briefs for executive leadership
Financial & Strategic Analysis
Assist with pro forma financial modeling for potential acquisitions and growth initiatives
Support M&A and investment diligence by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing financial and operational data
Prepare concise analytical memos, models, and presentations to guide executive decisions
Licensing & Regulatory Analysis
Research licensing and qualification requirements for civil construction operations in new states
Analyze timelines, costs, risks, and strategic implications of licensing pathways
Provide recommendations on market entry readiness based on regulatory constraints
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in
investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, FP&A, or a similarly analytical role
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and research skills
Excellent written communication with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
Ability to manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously
