Job Summary: We are partnering with a client in the Charlotte area, and we are looking to add a Business Development Sales Rep to the team! The client is one of the world's largest forest and forest products companies, with locations all over the US and even internationally.
Responsibilities:
The BDR is actively involved in day‑to‑day outbound and inbound (primarily outbound) selling activity
Calling into major home improvement stores
The BDR is responsible for promoting and selling our client’s full range of products, including lumber, rebar, insulation, decking, siding, engineered lumber, and cedar
Cultivates knowledge and relationships, proactively selling a full range of products to current customers as well as establishing business with customers who currently do not buy from Weyerhaeuser
Responsible for sales quotes and gathering market intelligence, entering data into a CRM
Provides monthly updates to uncover obstacles and report on won sales and opportunities
Meet quarterly growth goals and call metrics
