About the Role
The Company is in search of a Founding Executive Director to spearhead its mission in Ohio. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader, with a strong focus on fundraising, strategic planning, and fiscal management. This role is pivotal in launching and overseeing the organization's work in the state, with the primary goal of maximizing the impact of its evidence-based, highly scalable program on child and family outcomes. The Executive Director will be responsible for all aspects of the state affiliate, including the implementation of public and private partnerships, and will serve as the primary spokesperson, representing the organization to various stakeholders. Key responsibilities for the Founding Executive Director include leading a team with a strategic, outcomes-driven approach, overseeing team operations, and maintaining an organizational climate that fosters a quality, diverse staff. The role also involves leading all fundraising efforts, setting and achieving development goals, and working closely with the Medical Director to ensure strong partnerships with the medical community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, fundraising, and strategic planning, and will be adept at managing a significant budget while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaboration with national and local teams, as well as with elected officials and stakeholders, is essential to the role.
