Job Description
We are seeking a senior Data Architect & Engineering professional with extensive experience designing secure, scalable data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Data Architecture/Engineering
- 4+ years of deep hands‑on Databricks expertise (Spark, Delta Lake, performance tuning)
- Strong domain experience with Lending and Deposit data (loan origination, servicing, regulatory data)
- Expertise in SQL/PySpark and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: design & lead secure, scalable data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse platform, define technical standards, ensure compliance/governance for sensitive financial data.
- Hands‑on Development: build optimized data marts, write efficient pipelines using Python/PySpark and SQL, manage CI/CD.
- Collaboration: work closely with business teams (Risk, Finance) to gather requirements, translate into technical specs, mentor junior staff and collaborate with other tech teams.
