About the Role
The IT Federal Sales Director role at Golden Star Technology Inc (GST) focuses on the Federal Business Director balancing sales engagement, business development, and federal strategy. The ideal candidate has experience developing a business group/unit, extensive knowledge of federal clients/projects, work independently, and be self-motivated>
Job Functions
- Define and execute federal sales strategy to meet sales and margin targets.
- Develop and sale into specific federal accounts.
- Develop territory sales plan and prospect new opportunities.
- Closely manage dealers, distributors, and OEM accounts and establish strong multi-tier relationships within each organization.
- Take ownership of customer problems to ensure definitive resolution.
- Identify opportunities for additional resources, vendor products, and technical services.
- Submit sales projection and quarterly business review reports to management.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with the Federal industry and business.
- Contract experience.
- Industry and vendor certifications.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- 7+ years federal experience.
- 7+ years management experience.
- Outstanding ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
