Crowley's Marine Management Services Inc. (MMS) is a dedicated, MLC certified marine and offshore crewing company whose focus is to add value to the ship or asset owner through successful and cost-effective management of marine resources. MMS’s main focuses are offshore crewing, personnel recruitment, and project support.

Work Arrangement Mariner life: 12 hour shifts on vessel as needed based on vessel operations, meal & lodging provided. 10% Travel – To and from the vessel.
What You'll Do The AB (Able Body Seaman) must be responsible for imparting knowledge about the specific features, characteristics, and procedures of the vessel operations to crew members and the orientation of all new personnel on board the vessel.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-the-job training.
Ensure that he/she is capable of navigating through and communicating the requirements and contents of the Management System to company representatives, regulatory personnel, and vessel crew members.
Act as Person in Charge during emergencies.
Perform any other additional duties that may be required or assigned, including bridge watch.
Responsible for handling lines.
Perform a variety of duties to preserve painted surfaces of the ship - daily maintenance, sanitation, general upkeep, lines, running gear, and cargo-handling gear in a safe operating condition.
Report any shortcomings, inaccuracies, or conflicts in any portion of the Management System to the master.
Proactively exercise good judgment and work according to safety rules and regulations.
Ability to effectively identify and communicate technical issues and information to others.
Education & Credentials
High School Diploma or equivalent [G.E.D.].
Required
Must hold a valid USCG MMC with a minimum of an AB Limited or higher

VPDSD/Security Awareness
Proficiency in survival craft
Valid USCG 719k Med Cert (STCW)
Valid TWIC Card
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
HUET w/ CAEBS or BOSIET w/ CAEBS or FOET w/CAEBS
Experience
1 year of verifiable related experience preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
Must be familiar with rigging equipment and know how to set up, repair, and use to move equipment and materials.
Demonstrate ability to signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
