To make impactful on-the-farm sales presentations that drive success for our local producers./ppWhat were looking for:/pulliA strong mathematical aptitude/liliThe ability to formulate precise fertilizer and chemical recommendations/liliA proactive approach to sales and customer service/liliLeading initiatives to manage organizational change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption/liliActively adopting and integrating cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge/li/ulpIf youre ready to take your career to the next level and make a real difference in the agricultural community, we want to hear from you!/ppResponsibilities:/pulliExecute sales plans to achieve sales goals and increase profitability through implementation of sales, marketing and consulting processes for products and services./liliEvaluate current customer programs and develop sales and marketing plans and programs to meet complex business needs while growing the business./liliCollaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations, technical staff and credit to heighten the visibility and impact of sales calls and improve efficiency and profitability./liliFacilitate positive long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create long-term repeat business./liliIdentify needs and provide consultative services for businesses and customers by combining established relationships with product, marketing and technical skills./liliPrepare sales presentations, contracts, bids and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions./liliProvide training to staff and customers./liliWork with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Service customer complaints and inquiries./liliLead sales projects and act as a mentor to less experienced sales staff./liliDevelop knowledge of multiple products and apply this knowledge in all aspects of the job./liliMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions./li/ulpAdditional responsibilities may include:/pulliCollaborate with other DAP divisions to leverage business relationships, growing the CHS enterprise./liliContribute to operational initiatives and assist with related duties to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction/li/ulpTraining Provided:/pulliProduct Training/liliSales Training/liliComputer Training on CRM Software/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications (required):/pulliHigh School diploma or GED/lili2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations/li/ulpAdditional Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree preferred in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field/lili2+ years of Ag Retail selling experience to include: agronomic field work, presentations, utilizing persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independently/liliExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal/liliProficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint/liliValid drivers license with clean driving record/li/ulpPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
