Responsibilities/strong/pulliLead the vision for sports coverage that resonates with both die-hard fans and casual viewers./liliAnchor engaging, personality-driven sportscasts./liliReport live from games and events, bringing viewers into the action and emotion./liliProduce creative, distinctive, and memorable content for TV and digital platforms, including CTV./liliTake part in the production of our weekly 30-minute show spotlighting UTRGV athletics, Vaqueros Nation/liliHost a weekly CTV digital show./liliBuild strong connections with the community through social media engagement and public appearances./liliRespond quickly to breaking sports news and deliver compelling coverage./liliShoot, edit, and write stories that go beyond the scoreboard, stories that matter./li/ulpstrongRequirements
Skills/strong :/pulliA storyteller at heart with a passion for local sports and community pride./liliBachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)./liliAt least 4 years of sports reporting or anchoring experience (flexible based on market size)./liliStrong on-air presence and ability to ad-lib with confidence./liliSkilled in video shooting/editing and digital content creation./liliAbility to lead, motivate, and collaborate with a team./liliExcellent communication skills and deadline-driven mindset./liliBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred/liliValid drivers license and flexibility to work any shift./lili#Ll-Onsite/li/ul/div
