This role ensures efficient production of high-quality components that meet engineering specifications and customer requirements./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliCreate, edit, and maintain CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations using CAD/CAM software./liliInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements./liliSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to optimize cycle times and maintain quality standards./liliCollaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot programming issues and improve processes./liliPerform program simulations and verify tool paths to prevent errors and reduce scrap./liliMaintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and revisions./liliEnsure compliance with safety standards and company quality procedures./liliSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs./liliSupport Lean Manufacturing by understanding, analyzing, and streamlining machining process./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pAssociate degree or technical certification in CNC programming, machining, or related field preferred./ph3Experience/h3pMinimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment./ppProficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Solidworks or similar)./ppStrong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations./ppAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GDT./ppKnowledge of materials (metals, composites) and machining processes./ppExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail./ppExperience cutting multiple materials, (Titanium, Stainless, Inconel, Plastics)/ph3Preferred Skills/h3pExperience with multi-axis machining and advanced programming techniques./ppFamiliarity with ERP systems and shop floor data collection./ppLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience./ph3Physical Requirements/h3pAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs./ppWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery./ppTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
