Join us in redefining the future of senior living communities with a commitment to excellence and affordability./ppNovellus Clairemont is looking for on-call/PRN qualified Medication Technicians to administers resident medications and coordinates treatments to residents, as well as assist with resident care./ppWork shift varies/ppCompensation: Starting at $17.00/hour/ppWhat youll do:/pulliPrepare and distribute medication to residents./liliCoordinate regular communication regarding medication services with the families, resident, pharmacy, physician, and supervisor./liliRegularly review the residents medication administration record, centrally stored record, pharmacy transaction record, and report any errors to the Resident Care Director./liliOrder, receive and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies./liliMaintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records./liliMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests following established safety standards./liliAssist in staff training and participate in orientation of new staff./liliAssist with resident care when needed./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpRequirements
Qualifications:/pulliGeneral knowledge of nursing and health care terminology./liliExcellent patient care skills./liliPatience and compassion when dealing with others./liliWillingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures./liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./liliAbility to communicate effectively to customers or employees of organization./liliMust be available to work flexible work hours due to demands of position./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliCNA is preferred, a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus./li/ul/div
