Tool And Die Maker
We're seeking a skilled and reliable Tool And Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, repairing, and maintaining tooling, dies, and fixtures to support production operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality and efficient manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Operate standard tool room equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines. Perform precision machining, fitting, and assembly of components. Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Ensure all tools and dies meet quality and safety standards. Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to improve tooling design and efficiency. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). 3+ years of tool and die making or related machining experience. Strong knowledge of shop math, precision measuring tools, and machining principles. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and quality.
