Public Works Superintendent

divh2Public Works Superintendent/h2pWe are seeking an experienced public works superintendent to manage a public water treatment plant in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you have at least 10 years of experience in the construction of major facilities, with at least 5 years in the construction of water treatment plants, we would love to speak with you./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3olliLead the planning and execution of public works projects ranging from $5M to $100M+/liliDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations/liliCoordinate and supervise field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries/liliEnsure compliance with contract documents, local/state/federal regulations, and safety protocols/liliServe as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, inspectors, and public agencies/liliPrepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, progress billings, and project documentation/liliConduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, productivity, and safety/liliLead internal project meetings and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders/liliDrive project closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, and owner turnover/liliIdentify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and claims proactively/li/olh3Qualifications/h3ulli7+ years of experience in project management for heavy civil construction or public works/liliProven experience managing water treatment plants and/or other major facilities with public works departments/liliBachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)/liliStrong understanding of municipal specifications, labor compliance, and permitting processes/liliProficient with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project, or similar/liliExcellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills/liliOSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain/liliBSCE or BSCM preferred/li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliAnnual Salary of $140,000-$180,000/liliMedical, dental, and vision insurance/lili401(k) with 3% company match/liliProfit Sharing of 7%/liliAnnual Bonus of 10%/liliPaid time off, holidays, and continuing education opportunities/li/ul/div
