Southwest Medical, part of OptumCare, is a multi-specialty group of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants consisting of over 300 providers, 21 medical health centers including six urgent care clinics, four convenient care centers, two lifestyle centers catering to older adults, an outpatient surgery center, home health, hospice and palliative care services, plus E-visits and online options via Now Clinic telemedicine technology. Southwest Medical Associates is one of Nevadas largest multi-specialty medical groups./ppThe CNA is a member of the hospice team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet patients needs. The CNA is responsible for observations, documenting observations and care performed. Our operations are seven days a week. The CNA will work any five days between the hours of 6am and 5pm. Weekends are required./ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliResponsible for patient care including but not limited to baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, changing bed linens, assisting patients with dressing and undressing, keeping patients living area clean and orderly/liliAssist with food preparation if requested/needed/liliTake vitals as needed/liliAssist in ambulation and exercise according to plan of care/liliRemind patients of self-administration of medication/liliDo laundry as appropriate/liliReport on patients condition to assigned nurse/liliOther responsibilities as assigned/li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED/liliCurrent certified nursing assistant certification issued by state of Nevada Board of Nursing/lili1+ years of experience in an acute, hospice or home health setting/liliCPR certified or certified before starting in position/liliMicrosoft Office proficiency/liliAccess to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliHome health or hospice experience/liliExperience with end of life care/li/ulpPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
