divh2Freight Bill Clerk/h2pThe Freight Bill Clerk supports a dedicated Transportation Management client with the accurate and timely processing of freight invoices and shipping documentation. This position plays a critical role in ensuring billing accuracy, cost control, and maintaining positive carrier and client relationships. This position reports to the Senior Account Manager./ppResponsibilities/polliAudit, process, and reconcile freight bills, invoices, and related documents/liliVerify carrier charges against contracts, rate agreements, and shipping documentation/liliResolve discrepancies with carriers, clients, or internal departments as needed/liliMaintain accurate billing records in internal systems and ensure timely data entry/liliCommunicate with high volume carriers and vendors regarding payment statuses or billing issues/liliAssist with month-end reporting and provide carrier aging report status updates/liliCollaborate with the account management and carrier accounting teams to ensure the carrier partners are paid timely and streamline the clients cash flow/li/olpQualifications/pulliAssociates Degree Required/lili4+ years experience in billing / accounting environment/lili1-2 years of transportation/clerical experience
LTL Bill of Ladings, freight invoices, and accessorial fee experience/liliExcellent in Microsoft Applications
Word, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables)/liliExcellent oral and written communication skills/liliWork as a team player, yet able to work independently/liliMust have billing system experience/liliAble to communicate professionally
promptly with management, coworkers, and customers/liliStrong analytical and mathematical skills/liliMust have leadership and organizational skills/liliMust have excellent MS Office Suite skills, Excel and Access a must/li/ulpWe are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $26.00 an HOUR.
