The Administrator plays a key role in building a positive culture that supports residents, families, and employees and reflects the mission and values of our organization./ph2Qualifications/h2pRequired:/pulliLicensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in good standing/liliMinimum age of 18/liliCompletion of secondary education plus at least two years of undergraduate studies/liliPrevious supervisory experience in long-term care or hospital setting/liliStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills/liliAbility to speak, read, write, and understand English/liliDemonstrated patience, tact, professionalism, and a genuine interest in serving older adults/li/ulpPreferred:/pulliExperience leading a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or senior living community/liliKnowledge of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and long-term care operations/li/ulh2Key Responsibilities/h2h3A. Administrative Leadership/h3ulliPromote a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff/liliEnsure residents receive high-quality nursing, medical, and psychosocial services/liliLead, plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate all facility operations and programs/liliOversee departmental policies and procedures; ensure departmental collaboration/liliEnsure full compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations/liliRepresent the facility during meetings with governing boards, medical partners, agencies, and community groups/liliLead the Quality Assurance
Performance Improvement (QAPI) program/liliIdentify operational challenges and implement corrective action plans/liliDevelop and support effective marketing and community relations efforts/li/ulh3B. Personnel Management/h3ulliRecruit, interview, hire, and retain qualified staff/liliSupport and guide department directors in all personnel-related activities/liliEnsure accurate job descriptions and performance evaluations are maintained/liliOversee staff scheduling practices and departmental staffing needs/liliMaintain complete personnel documentation in compliance with regulations/liliDelegate authority and responsibilities as appropriate/li/ulh3C. Resource Management/h3ulliReview monthly financial statements and report findings to governing boards/liliMaintain strong accounting practices and cost-control measures/liliPrepare annual operational budgets and ensure financial performance targets are met/liliApprove purchases of supplies, equipment, and resources needed for facility operations/liliMonitor inventory levels and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents/li/ulh3D. Advocacy/h3ulliUphold resident confidentiality, dignity, and respect/liliEnsure all staff understand and comply with Resident Rights/liliMonitor care delivery to ensure resident needs are met promptly and effectively/liliOversee discharge procedures and room change notifications/liliReview, track, and resolve resident complaints and grievances/li/ulh2Additional Responsibilities/h2h3Committee Participation/h3ulliServe on and lead facility committees as required/liliReport outcomes and follow up on committee recommendations/li/ulh3Safety
