Our customers view us as a trusted partner in the areas of injection molding, laser processing, metal stamping and device assembly./ppThe Tool And Die Maker will play a key role in supporting the Stamping Business Unit by building, maintaining, and improving fixtures, gauges, and progressive tooling. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced technical skills, troubleshoot complex challenges, and directly contribute to the quality and efficiency of our production operations. Working closely with a skilled team, the Tool And Die Maker will help drive innovation, ensure tooling reliability, and support a culture of continuous improvement./ph2Responsibilities/h2ulliPerform maintenance on production-ready stamping tooling to ensure optimal performance./liliAccurately document all activities in required databases and records./liliTroubleshoot tooling issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions./liliCollaborate closely with team members to apply best practices in maintaining and qualifying progressive tooling./liliMonitor and support the refinement of toolroom processes to improve efficiency and quality./liliSet up and operate manual toolroom equipment to produce high-quality, precise tooling components, fixtures, and other parts./liliSet up and operate toolroom measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications./liliWork effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2ulliTechnical degree or equivalent machine tool experience/lili3+ years building or maintaining progressive tooling/liliStrong knowledge of cutting and forming, ability to troubleshoot by reading a progressive strip, and knowledge of the theory of cutting and forming in the stamping process/liliProven troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis and effective solutions./liliDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams./liliProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings./liliAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment./liliStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities./liliHigh level of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail./li/ulpTool Die Maker Preferred Requirements:/pulliProficient in SolidWorks/liliMedical device manufacturing/liliProgressive tooling experience/liliBasic skills and knowledge of Lean Principles and toolroom process workflow/li/ulpPhysical
