Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free from debris and safety hazards./liliObserve and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards./liliPerform all other duties as assigned./li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS/pulliGood interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment./liliMust meet minimum age requirements./liliEffective customer service and communication skills./liliSuccessful experience as a meat associate or previous meat cutting experience preferred./liliDemonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliLift cases or packages of meat products weighing 1-40 lb. frequently and 100 lb. on occasion./liliMeet established volume activity standards./liliStand or walk 100% of the time while working in temperatures of 45 degrees F the majority of the time./liliPerform repetitive grasping, twisting, reaching and hand/arm motions as the product is identified, wrapped, priced and weighed./liliUse hands continuously to feel objects, use tools and equipment to cut and prepare meat products./liliBe able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials and meat products./liliFrequent bending./li/ulpPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/pulliPerform the meat cutting functions once training is complete. This includes but is not limited to scraping and traying products, cubing steaks, grinding ground meats and cutting and processing meat according to Standard Practice Manual./liliPerform meat associate responsibilities as directed./liliProvide outstanding customer service.
