The hotel features 247 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. your family members/li/ulpWhat will you be doing?/pulliShow guests to room assisting them with their luggage./liliExplain all hotel facilities, their location in the hotel, hours of operation, and answer all questions about these facilities and other hotel questions./liliCheck luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight./liliMaintain the designated station in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned for fronts./liliOpen doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner./liliMaintain the cleanliness of the bellstand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests./liliPost the daily events board and entertainment board in the lobby./liliMaintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of intershift log./liliDeliver messages and valet to guest rooms./liliPerform pick ups and drop-offs at the airport for the guests in a timely and friendly manner and inspect vehicles./liliMay perform the duties of a valet as required./liliAssist front desk with key inventory twice weekly./liliComply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular/liliPerform any other job related duties as assigned./li/ulpRequired skills and abilities:/ppMust have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Ability to meet standards of appearance. Can communicate well with guests. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
