divh2Stock Clerk/h2pBowhead is seeking a Stock Clerk to join our team in Fort Jackson, SC. The Stock Clerk will perform a variety of tasks in assisting in the Central Issue Facility of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). The Stock Clerks receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compile stock records of items in the stockroom or warehouse./ppEssential functions will include:/pulliAbility to sort and/or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices/liliExamining stock to verify conformance to specifications, storing articles in bins on floors or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size or type of material/liliMust possess the capability to fill orders or issues supplies from stock/liliPreparing periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders/liliOperating a vehicle is a core requirement/liliOperating a forklift may be required/liliCompiling reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments/liliAbility to make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock, and may cut stock to fill order/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliA High School Diploma or GED is required at a minimum/liliAt least two (2) years of stocking experience preferred/liliExperience with the military Logistics Information Systems (LIS) preferred/liliBasic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint/liliAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts/liliStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team/li/ulpPhysical Demands:/pulliMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds/liliMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time/liliMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically/li/ulpSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust Level (NACI).
