Correspondence Management Analyst II
CGI Federal, Inc. is seeking a Correspondence Management Analyst II to support the Criminal division at DOJ. This position will also provide clerical assistance to the Victim Witness Specialist, and other officials, in support of victim/witness services. This position is located in 1400 New York Ave. 4th Floor, Washington DC 20005. Your future duties and responsibilities include: Receives citizen, congressional and executive incoming correspondence Reviews and drafts current section correspondence Ensures formatting, form, etc., is in accordance with the Correspondence Manual, and ensures timely preparation of correspondence Reviews all prepared correspondence for correct format, grammar, spelling, etc Prepares responses to citizen complaints Receives and reviews correspondence overdue reports and works with others collaboratively to affect remedies and move the response along Receives telephone calls coming into the section and routes to appropriate parties or responds if the issue is within the incumbent's purview Provides clerical assistance to the Victim Witness Specialist, and other officials, in support of victim/witness services Provides similar support for the Division's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) efforts Provides direct administrative support to crime victims and witnesses, including arranging and administering logistics to include travel, accommodations and various supporting documentation Provides information on court schedule changes, status of defendant's pleas, results of trial, opportunities to address the court, and post-sentencing notification Assists in the return of evidence to victims Required qualifications to be successful in this role include: 1-3 years of experience in correspondence or related field Ability to successfully complete a CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Justice Modified Risk Public Trust waiver Strong personal computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing Ability to perform as a member of a team Education: High School diploma or equivalent Benefits include: $30.96/hour, non-negotiable Share Purchase Plan with company matching dollar-for-dollar contributions 401(k) Plan and Profit Participation Paid Time Off (80 hours) 11 Paid Holidays Health & Welfare Benefits Note: This job description is not all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may arise.
