then we need YOU to join our winning team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Bakery Manager!/ph3Overview of Responsibilities/h3pAt Sprouts Farmers Market, the Bakery Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Bakery Department./pulliManage the daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products/liliSupervise and monitor product quality and consistency, track inventory, and manage the bakerys budget/liliEvaluate department conditions and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement; develop improved practices and procedures/liliEnsure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity are maintained/liliResponsible for correct ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage/liliExecute rotation of merchandise and building of displays/liliResponsible for managing department inventory, in-stocks, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operational processes to Sprouts standards/liliPlan and order according to company standards to maximize sales and gross profit/liliIf you thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you/liliEngage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions, and make recommendations on merit increases via completing the bi-annual performance review process./liliRegularly attend and participate in-store meetings./liliRecruit, hire and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager./liliConfidently exercise independent judgment to address Team Member concerns./liliTake and document corrective actions when needed, including collaboration with business and HR partners in managing performance to include coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination when needed./liliEnsure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels./liliCommunicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members./liliLead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience your customers will receive./liliServe as a Key Carrier for the store and/or act as a Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pTo be a Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market qualified candidates must:/pulliBe at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years retail grocery experience/liliBe dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays/liliHave and show outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers./liliHave good communication skills; and the ability to give and take direction participating in a team environment/liliBe able to answer phones and take special orders/liliPerform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area (including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.)/liliBe able to operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed. Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products/liliBe able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift.
