This role is responsible for identifying waste, improving operational efficiency, enhancing quality, and supporting the development of a continuous improvement culture. The CI Specialist will apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable improvements and will play a key role in training and coaching employees as the organization begins its journey toward structured continuous improvement./ph3What Youll Be Doing:/h3pBe part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter./pulliLead Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve process capability, and increase overall plant performance./liliConduct process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical analyses, and other CI tools to identify improvement opportunities./liliDevelop and implement Standard Work, 5S programs, visual management systems, and other Lean practices across production areas./liliSupport teams in developing KPIs and monitoring performance metrics related to quality, cost, productivity, and safety./liliAct as an internal educator and coach for Lean and Six Sigma tools, helping build organizational competency in a company new to CI methodologies./liliDeliver training sessions on Lean fundamentals, problem-solving, and process improvement techniques./liliCollaborate with leadership and frontline employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability./liliPrioritize improvement opportunities and manage a portfolio of active projects driving business impact./liliLead cross-functional CI project teams composed of engineering, operations, maintenance, and EHS personnel./liliPrepare and present project charters, progress updates, and final reports to plant leadership./liliEnsure sustained results by monitoring implemented improvements and supporting corrective actions when necessary./liliEnsure all improvement initiatives uphold strict chemical manufacturing safety standards and regulatory requirements./liliCollaborate with EHS to incorporate safety considerations into all process changes./li/ulh3Who Were Looking For:/h3pAt Croda, we believe our people are the heart of our success. We are committed to fostering an environment where you can grow, make a meaningful impact, and thrive./pulliBachelors degree in a science-based or engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field)./lili3+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant, petrochemical facility, or similar regulated industrial environment./liliProven experience applying Lean Six Sigma methods within a manufacturing settingmust include demonstrated project leadership with quantifiable results./liliLean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt strongly preferred./liliStrong working knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management)./liliProficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, or similar)./liliFamiliarity with chemical process operations, batch or continuous processing, and quality systems./li/ulpDont meet all the qualifications?
