The purpose of this role is to create meaningful personal connections with customers while processing transactions, identify ways for Regions to meet customer needs, and assist in resolving end to end customer service inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with prior teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience who are interested in beginning a career with opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility. This requires an individual who has strong communication skills and the ability to provide personalized customer service./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers transactional needs, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions/liliAnswers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests, such as new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN reset requests, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution/liliDevelops relationships with customers, remaining well-informed about the customers relationship with the bank/liliEducates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier/liliAssists branch and fellow team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution/liliRefers customers to an internal team of experts when more complex financial goals and needs are recognized/liliFollows all bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including completing duties delegated and assigned by the Branch Manager; as a member of the branch team, ensures sound banking practices, including managing, identifying and reporting operational risks/liliAchieves branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutions/liliMay conduct outbound phone calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with meeting their financial needs/li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliAbility to work Saturdays as needed/liliAbility to handle cash and process cash transactions/liliAbility to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels/liliAbility to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor/liliAbility to walk and stand for extended periods of time/liliAbility to lift up to twenty (20) pounds/li/ulh3Preferences/h3ulliOne (1) year of banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience/li/ulh3Skills and Competencies/h3ulliAbility to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines/liliAbility to assist customers with digital banking offerings/liliAbility to handle multiple priorities simultaneously/liliAbility to oversee large sums of cash/liliStrong customer focus and relationship-building skills/li/ulh3Position Type/h3pFull time/ph3Compensation Details/h3pPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position./ph3Job Range Target/h3pMinimum: $39,601.10 USD Median: $46,880.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan.
