This position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation support, and customer guidance while following established safety standards and technical procedures./ppstrongEssential Job Functions:/strong/pulliAccurately inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with generators/liliPerform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize generator downtime/liliRepair malfunctioning generators and replace defective components as necessary/liliOversee and assist with installation of new generators, ensuring they are fully operational/liliTest generator output and performance to confirm compliance with specifications and operational requirements/liliMaintain detailed documentation of all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service actions/liliAdhere to safety protocols and procedures while servicing equipment/liliCommunicate with customers to identify generator needs and recommend appropriate solutions/liliProvide guidance and education on generator operation and safety practices/liliRemain current on technological advancements and implement updated techniques when applicable/liliOrder, track, and replace parts, materials, and supplies/liliSupport process improvements related to maintenance procedures and service operations/liliContribute to reporting, recordkeeping, and the development of technical documentation/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongNecessary Skills and Knowledge:/strong/pulliThorough understanding of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, and generator components/liliStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read technical drawings and schematics/liliCompletion of a technical program in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent professional experience/liliProven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions/liliExcellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills/liliAbility to consistently follow and enforce safety protocols/li/ulpstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pulliMinimum of 5 years of experience working with civilian and/or military-style generators/liliAt least 2 years of unsupervised field experience performing comprehensive generator maintenance/li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliTechnician certification from FG Willison, Cummins, Caterpillar, or similar organizations, preferred/liliPrior military or LOGCAP generator maintenance experience/liliKnowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred/li/ulpThe salary range for this position is $28.18 to $35.23 per hour.
