Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service./ph3Position Summary:/h3pANSER is seeking a Marine Force Pacific Command (MARFORPAC) Senior Communication and Strategy Operational Planner. In this role you will support MARFORPAC Communication and Strategy (COMMSTRAT) Division with deliberate communication planning. In this role you will provide technical leadership and direction to MARFORPAC and subordinate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) staff personnel in the development, revision, and review of Operational Plans (OPLANS) and Contingency Plans (CONPLANS)./ph3Day to Day Responsibilities:/h3pAssist the MARFORPAC staff planners in the development of strategic and operational communication concepts for new OPLANS/CONPLANS and possible branch plans to existing OPLANS/CONPLANS./ppMake recommendations, where appropriate, to change planning procedures or ways of conducting planning to the MARFORPAC staff and subordinate command staffs./ppSupport higher, adjacent and supporting headquarters planning ensuring proper employment of USMC COMMSTRAT forces; and review and provide written comments on COMMSTRAT aspects of regional combatant commander and JTF OPLANS/CONPLANS./ph3Required Qualifications:/h3pActive TS/SCI clearance./ppMasters degree. Will consider an additional 8 years experience with bachelors degree OR 12 years work experience may be substituted for a masters degree./pp10+ years of operations planning experience at MAJCOM, Combatant Command or equivalent./ppDemonstrated understanding of Marine Corps Planning Process and the Research, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation (RPIE) public planning process./ppDemonstrated understanding of C2IE, a DoD system of record for strategic OAI management./ppFive to 10 years of experience with USMC MAGTF Planning./ppIn-depth knowledge of operational planning, communication synchronization, service and joint doctrine, and Marine Corps competency issues./ppAdvanced proficiency with using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams, Words, Power Pt., etc./ppPossess a working knowledge of the Pacific theater, and an understanding of the relationships and general interactions between each nation./ph3Preferred Qualifications:/h3pStrong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence./ppExceptional written and verbal communication skills./ppMasters of Arts or Science degree of higher and 10+ years of relevant experience./pp12 years work experience may be substituted for a Masters Degree./ppBachelors Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Masters Degree./ppIndividual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
