Principal Analog Design Engineer

The Precision Signal Chain Group is seeking an experienced Principal level Analog Design Engineer to join our development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of analog/mixed-signal products in the following areas: Architecture exploration, transistor-level implementation, and verification of signal conditioning blocks and systems.
  • Participate in customer engagements to determine technical feasibility and development of the business cases for new product concepts.
  • Collaborate with local and global design, test, applications, and marketing engineers during system definition to create robust and efficient architectures, including downstream specifications at the analog block level.
  • Provide technical oversight and support of other job functions such as IC layout, packaging, PCB design/layout, lab evaluation, and production test to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design and layout techniques, tools, and flows as well as semiconductor device physics.
  • Extensive design experience or background in precision amplifier circuits, ADCs, DACs, bandgaps, bias circuits, and LDOs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS / PhD degree in EE or ECE with focus on analog/mixed signal design with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
