Coordinator

Hiring Salary Range: 65,000-68,000 annually, commission available

Hybrid position. Requirement for 2 days in office weekly

 

Summary
In this role, you will actively collaborate within account teams to deliver exceptional client results and may lead client accounts. You’ll be responsible for identifying appropriate media contacts for each account, creating and fostering reporter relationships and delivering consistent media results. In addition to media outreach, this role is responsible for creating client-facing documents as well as
actively participating in the identification and resolution of account problems.


Essential Functions

  • Develop, support and execute a broad range of proactive PR and social media strategies and programs for assigned clients, identifying opportunities to build clients’ visibility in outlets that reach their target audiences
  • Identify key media targets by closely tracking client and industry news, drafting pitches and developing reporter relationships
  • Support account teams by creating materials such as media lists, briefing sheets and speaking/award opportunities for clients
  • Interact with a variety of clients for account management, presentations and new business proposals
  • Research social media trends, monitor client social media pages and craft stellar social content
  • Assist or lead small projects and/or accounts
  • Contribute to team and client meetings, speaking with confidence to all activities that fall under your ownership both internally and to clients, as well as in brainstorming, idea generation and research for client programs
  • Identify and work to resolve client account issues

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree required. Prefer degrees in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or
related field
2. Minimum two years professional agency public relations experience required

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Expected Hours of Work
The position is paid salary semi-monthly and is exempt. Full time work of 40 hours per week with some extended hours expected.

Travel
Very limited travel may be expected in this position.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
