About The Role

We’ve been pioneers in organic home textiles since 1991, and we’re looking for a Content Writer who can weave together the stories of soil health, coastal-inspired design, and restorative sleep. You aren't just selling sheets; you are educating our community on the "why" behind organic cotton, the impact of GOTS certification, and the beauty of a circular home. You will be the primary voice across our blog (The Naturalist), email campaigns, and product pages, ensuring our message is as soft, refined, and authentic as our linens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mission-Driven Storytelling: Craft deep-dive articles for The Naturalist blog on topics like regenerative agriculture, climate-beneficial fibers, and non-toxic living.
  • The "Coyuchi Voice": Maintain a consistent brand voice that is elevated, serene, and authoritative yet accessible.
  • E-commerce & Product Copy: Write compelling, SEO-optimized product descriptions that highlight technical sustainability features (e.g., Fair Trade, GOTS, MADE SAFE) alongside luxury benefits.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Develop engaging copy for email flows and SMS campaigns that nurture our community from first purchase to lifelong "Coyuchi Curator."
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Design and Sustainability teams to translate complex environmental data into digestible, "shoppable" narratives.
  • Social & Community: Support the social team with captions and video scripts that highlight our artisans and the coastal California lifestyle.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in content writing, journalism, or copywriting, ideally for a premium lifestyle, wellness, or sustainable brand.
  • A Passion for the Planet: You have a genuine interest in environmental stewardship and can speak intelligently about organic standards and circularity.
  • Versatile Stylist: You can pivot from technical sustainability reporting to evocative, "sensory" lifestyle copy.
  • SEO Savvy: You know how to weave keywords naturally into storytelling to drive organic growth without losing the brand's soul.
  • Detail-Oriented: A "zero-compromise" approach to grammar, facts, and brand consistency.

Salary Range

$82,000 – $95,000 per year (base salary)
